DTLR Lifestyle Thursdays Event “Lifestyle Thursdays” is a social marketing campaign of Downtown Locker Room, a regional clothing retail chain, in partnership with Street Wize, Radio Station 93.9 WKYS FM and LIV nightclub. The focus of “Lifestyle Thursdays” is to provide youth with a fun and safe environment to help them change their risky behaviors into healthy lifestyles and receive FREE condoms and giveaways. These events are every first Thursday of the month at LIV nightclub in DC.

National Black Testing Day National Black HIV Testing Day Testing Event was held at the DC parks & Recreation Trinidad Recreation Center in Washington DC. This was a testing campaign of Center for Minority Studies in partnership with Street Wize, Children’s Hospital, Radio Station 93.9 WKYS FM and the DC Department of Parks and Recreation. The focus of this testing event was to provide African American Youth with a fun and safe environment to learn about HIV, STDs, get tested and receive FREE condoms and giveaways.

Sports Zone Fashion Show “ELITE” is a social marketing campaign of Sports Zone, a regional clothing retail chain, in partnership with Street Wize and Radio Station 93.9 WKYS FM. The focus of “ELITE” is to provide youth with a fun and safe environment that combines fashion and HIV awareness. This event helps them change their risky behaviors into healthy lifestyles and receive FREE condoms and giveaways. These fashion shows take place in various Sports Zone Stores through out the Washington DC area.

Supreme Teen Event Supreme Teen is a social marketing campaign of Metro Teen AIDS in partnership with Street Wize, Radio Station 93.9 WKYS FM and the DC Department of Parks and Recreation. The focus of Supreme Teen is to provide youth with a fun and safe environment to learn about HIV/STDs, get tested and receive FREE condoms and giveaways. These events are every first and last Friday of the month from 6 – 9 PM at various DC recreation centers throughout the city.

Teen Concert “Know Your Statis”Teen Concert With our open forum discussion we let youth ask questions about HIV and help educate them by giving them powerful information that they can bring back to their communities that will dispell ignorance and negative stigma about HIV and reduce the rate of infection.
Tigger Bike Ride TV and Radio host Big Tigger and The Street Corner Foundation (SCF) present Big Tigger's 2nd Annual HIV/AIDS RIDE FOR LIFE featuring World-Renowned AMA Drag Racing Champion, Rickey Gadson as Honorary Grand Marshal. Big Tigger and Rickey Gadson lead the assembly of 2,000 riders and bike enthusiasts for the largest African-American motorcyle ride benefiting HIV/AIDS in the Washington, DC area.
